Should I buy a 2012–2016 Honda CR-V?

Buy it — but pick your powertrain deliberately. A 2012–2014 car with the 5-speed automatic is about as low-drama as used crossovers get: the K24 has no systemic engine failure, and the known issues (VTC rattle, battery drain, rear-diff shudder) are hundreds of dollars, not thousands.
